Apple is launching an AI system of its own called “Apple Intelligence”, it’s the company’s new personal intelligence system for its range of product devices, of which all user data will have to be channeled thru them. So that means you must trust them, their devices and their ability to properly secure your data from their central point of control. But the issue here isn’t whether if you trust Apple or not, or if your trust was earned, but how quickly that trust can be lost – just from one mistake.

I would tend to go opensource as my preference have always leaned towards open-source technology, both as an IT professional and as a consumer. I understand Apple’s stronger stance now on device security, and truth be told, skilled hackers can breach any system. And just because of its large base of users worldwide, it would be plausible to imagine hackers working actively and quietly targeting any weaknesses in Apple’s OS, as it’s a real enticingly huge honeypot.
