FB Posting on Sep 16th 2022

Had a real mini crisis yesterday, my C drive failed to boot up (basically lost track 0 for some unknown reason), had to rush out and buy a new SSD and then try to restore it via my installed Acronis Cyber Protect software, but lo behold, it cannot do its job!

So had to perform some creative remedy, manage to install a new Windows 10 set onto the new SSD, then reclone the old bootup (failed) SSD onto the new SSD, but stopped at recloning for the track 0.

Resultant – new SSD booted up nicely with all apps intact and with the old Windows product key. Whew… really gave me head a bit of wobble there…
